ARK Park Delayed Until Spring 2018

Those of you with Windows Mixed Reality VR HMDs (or any VR HMDs) who are looking forward to ARK Park have probably noticed that it isn’t actually out yet, despite originally being due for release in 2017. Well it turns out that two weeks ago the official ARK Park Twitter account tweeted the following:

So we’re going to have to wait until Spring for ARK Park. Although the delay is most likely because the game isn’t finished yet, it’s also possible that they have chosen to release it in Spring as the Jurassic World 2 movie is due out then too, since it’s obviously quite similar. Although more similar to the first Jurassic World from what’s been shown so far. Since it begins with a fully functioning dinosaur theme park that you get to explore with other happy visitors, before things eventually go wrong. There’s likely to be dinomania around Jurassic World 2’s release as usual, so it’s a perfect time to release such a game.

The system requirements for the Windows Mixed Reality version of ARK Park haven’t been released yet. However, the SteamVR version’s have and it looks like it’s going to require quite a powerful PC!
