From what I can tell, the first PC game for Kinect that is NOT a hack, will have a demo available to download on March 7th. Although it a tech demo, there is potential it will become a full fledged game. It’s titled Zombie Holdout by an Indie developer named Pixel Ninja. I’m not sure if they have released anything yet as the company has little details publicly known, but this could be their first entry into the gaming world.
Zombie Holdout
Built using OpenNI and Unity, the demo features a lone survivor fighting off hordes of zombies with a pair of pistols. Both hands aim independently and this could be a take on what Gunstringer and future Kinect rail shooters will function like. If this demo proves successful, it could possibly be picked up and brought to Xbox Live.
Pixel Ninja will release a downloadable version of the Zombie Holdout Kinect demo on March 7 for PC. In the meantime, you can see a preview of it:

Think this is a good start or the beginning of Kinect PC gaming? Let me know your thoughts! (We reported on another PC game which was said to have Kinect support before, but have not heard from it since. Ah well, at least Zombie Holdout has got real Kinect gameplay videos to convince us.)
