A new Xbox 360 Kinect game called Freefall Racers has just been announced and The Electric Playground Network have the exclusive first look at the XBLA game in the video above. It’s sort of like a cross between Diddy Kong Racing and Skydive: Proximity Flight!
Although it will include both local co-op and competitive split-screen multiplayer it surprisingly won’t include online multiplayer. :/
Here’s a little more info from the official website:
Come fly with Deep Silver, Rubicon Organization and Smoking Gun Interactive! The publishers and the developer today announced their new collaboration, the motion controlled racing game Freefall Racers for Kinect™ for Xbox 360®. The game features nine different flying squirrel characters to choose from. Players can steer them through varied tracks, controlling them with their body moves via Kinect. The easily learned controls and the competitive multiplayer mode make Freefall Racers a fun arcade racing game for every age. The game will be available exclusively on the Xbox Live® online entertainment network from Microsoft for $9,99 / €9,99 / 7.99 GBP.
Hopefully we’ll see more of this game later this week at Gamescom 2013.
