Zoo Tycoon Ultimate Animal Collection placeholder title

Gamescom 2017 Zoo Tycoon: Ultimate Animal Collection

The third Kinect 2-supported game that Microsoft’s Shannon Loftis announced during the pre-Gamescom Xbox show was a new version of Zoo Tycoon called Zoo Tycoon: Ultimate Animal Collection that promises to be even bigger than the original and includes new animals including koalas and kangaroos.

Like the other 2 Kinect-2 supported games announced, Zoo Tycoon: Ultimate Animal Collection will get extra enhancements if played on the upcoming Xbox One X with 4k and HDR confirmed so far. (Remember to get that Kinect adapter for it though!) Unlike those previous Kinect 2-supported games however this isn’t a full Kinect game, it’s a “Better With Kinect” game as you can only use Kinect in certain sections of the game to interact with some animals.

Zoo Tycoon: Ultimate Animal Collection will cost £19.99 (UK) / €29.99 (EU) / $29.99 (US) when it’s released on October 31st for both the Xbox One family of devices and Windows 10 PCs and is another Xbox Play Anywhere game if you buy the downloadable version so you get the PC version free, but I don’t know if the PC version supports Kinect 2.

For some reason there’s no trailer for this game yet either, but you can read more info about it in the following fact sheet and view a few screenshots in the gallery at the bottom:
