Gamescom 2017 Rush: A Disney Pixar Adventure Remastered!
As mentioned in the previous article, during Microsoft’s pre-Gamescom Xbox show Shannon Loftis, the General Manager of Microsoft Studios Publishing, announced three Kinect 2-supported games. The second game on that short list is a remastered version of the Xbox 360 Kinect game Rush: A Disney Pixar Adventure for Xbox One, which will also be further enhanced on the upcoming Xbox One X with at least 4K and HDR support currently confirmed, although unfortunately you will require the Kinect adapter to use Kinect 2 with Xbox One X if you want to play this game the way it’s meant to be played.
As with Disneyland Adventures the digital download version of Rush: A Disney Pixar Adventure is an Xbox Play Anywhere game which means you get a free copy of the Windows 10 PC version. I don’t know if the PC version supports Kinect 2 though, hopefully it will. I also don’t know if the physical disc-based version will support Xbox Play Anywhere as I don’t think the disc versions of other games have supported that yet. Rush: A Disney Pixar Adventure will be available on October 31st priced at £19.99 (UK) / €29.99 (EU) / $29.99 (US).
There isn’t a trailer for the remastered version of Rush: A Disney Pixar Adventure yet, but I’ll update this article or post a new one as soon as a trailer is available. You can also read more information about the game in the following fact sheet and see the first screenshots of it in the gallery at the bottom:
