Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare with Kinect 2.0 support!
Alright, I've been playing Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare for the Xbox One and it's an amazing game. If you've ever loved Plants vs. Zombies, you'll love this modern take on the game. It's a lot of fun. Even has a Kinect mode called the Boss Mode.

Honestly, the Kinect mode is unfair to the Kinect player because he doesn't get the same rewards as regular gamers. When you play the Boss mode, you are like a god who sees the playfield from above. You can drop health to your teammates below to heal them. You can also revive them if they die. You can drop bombs to kill zombies. However, it is unfair because in Garden Ops (this is the horde mode in PvZ), you earn coins which you can spend toward powerups and unlockables. When you escape at the end of wave 10, you get a bonus for escaping. However, the Kinect player doesn't get that reward. In fact, the Kinect player doesn't get to see the benefits of his actions other than saving his teammates. You only get a tiny window to see the action below.

So you have to be a completely selfless person to enjoy playing the Boss Mode. Since you are not playing a class character like the Chomper, the Sunflower, etc., you cannot level up while in Boss Mode. This puts you at another disadvantage. You are helping your teammates level up but you don't get a benefit from it. You are not earning the same amount of coins as your teammates as mentioned before.

That said, the game is a lot of fun and completely worth the $39.99.

Here's some sample gameplay:

RE: Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare with Kinect 2.0 support!
I showed you the Garden Ops mode in the previous post which is the horde mode for this game. Garden Ops is where you and some teammates face an increasing onslaught of zombies that you have to kill. If you survive 10 waves, you have an opportunity to escape with Crazy Dave.

Now, here's some sample gameplay of the Multiplayer mode which is the main mode of PvZ. It's up to 24 players (12 plants, 12 zombies). This is human only. No computer players, no bots, etc.

And here's Boss Mode (Kinect mode) in the Multiplayer game:

RE: Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare with Kinect 2.0 support!
here's a video on the new FREE DLC coming to PvZ! It will be available tomorrow (April 18).

The pack contains a new map, titled ‘Chomp Town’. 24 new class abilities, three for each class. One of the new abilities, titled ‘Chomper’s Super Goop’ cements zombies in place.

The star of the pack however is the new game mode, Gnome Bomb. The mode is an 8v8 affair that pits both teams against each other in a race to capture a bomb strapped to the back of a gnome, and detonate it at the other team’s base -similar to Battlefield 4′s Obliteration mode.

PopCap also added that the free pack will be available to download from Xbox Live Starting tomorrow, March 18.

It's a great game that's received a ton of great reviews (strangely, this site gave the lowest score out there).

Patch 1.31 Notes “Garden Variety Pack”

Major Features:
  • - New Map: Chomp Town
  • – playable in Garden Ops, Team Vanquish and Gnome Bomb. Yes Crazy Dave IS riding a Chomper… Why??? Because he’s CRAAAZYYY!
  • - New Game Mode: Gnome Bomb – be the 1st team to destroy all three gardens or graveyards with the explosive new Gnome Bomb.
  • - Pirates have invaded Port Scallywag and Sharkbite Shores in Garden Ops
  • - New Abilities for all characters – new character abilities are tucked away in the sticker shop (hint: Crazy Pack and higher are your best bet to get them! Supremium Pack, Incredi-Plant Pack & Vengeful Zomboss Pack have the highest chances to get them)
  • - 125 new customization items added to the sticker shop – spread across all characters/rarities…
  • - Added Doom-shroom potted plant consumable for plants
  • - Added Barrel Pirate, Treasure Map Pirate consumable for zombies

Minor Features:
