Well, maybe on your flat panel TV, but then it will fall off as soon as you jump a bit or as your cat gets close to the thing: bye bye $150. The Kinect TV Mount Kit allows users to mount the Kinect camera above or below your flat panel TVs: pretty awesome. The adjustable arms connect to the flat-panel TV‘s wall-mounting screw points.

What do you mean, height of Kinect? If I’m understanding you correctly, measure to the top of your TV and then add about 5 inches and that will give you the height. Keep in mind that Microsoft says not to place Kinect above 6 feet.

I only have 4,72 inches between the top of the TV and mobile, wanted to know if using the mount tv kinect would fit in that space.

I have a 50 inch DLP so neither the TV mount nor Wall mount will work. Plain old $1 velcro did the trick perfectly.

Kinect is currently sitting on my actual TV stand but I have a feeling it could be better if placed higher. My only concern is that my LED is about a half of an inch thick which by the looks of the mount, it isn’t made for that thin of TVs. The only thing that gives me hope is that in one of Major Nelson’s Inside Xbox videos, Microsoft has the mount sitting on an LED and it appears to be working just fine.

Although the reviews over at BestBuy.com say that it is very flimsy and made completely out of plastic. Here’s a link to them.

So how do I mount the kinect to the left of the center? I can’t have the sensor sitting in the center as it is on a full motion mount and it swivels. Looks like this won’t work for us.
