As I reported on Monday, the Psycho-Pass: Sentaku Naki Kōfuku (Psycho-Pass: Happiness Without Choice) website has been updated today with another announcement and it turns out to be more details about the adventure game’s appearance at this year’s Tokyo Game Show. Unfortunately it’s entirely in Japanese, but fortunately the Twitter user and Xbox fan lifelower (@lifelower) has kindly translated some of the details for us:
- There will be a new Psycho-Pass trailer at TGS which will be available to showgoers in 3D via HMDs (Head Mounted Displays) at Microsoft’s booth. Lifelower is unsure whether it’s a trailer for the game or the anime, but I’m sure there’ll also be a trailer for the game if that one is for the anime. Also if it’s for the game then that could mean that the game supports 3D.
- There will also be a playable demo of Psycho-Pass: Sentaku Naki Kōfuku at Microsoft’s booth. The demo will be an exclusive scenario for TGS featuring both old and new Psycho-Pass characters. The demo will be playable on Xbox One using Kinect 2, Xbox SmartGlass or just a joypad. Lifelower isn’t entirely sure how the game controls with Kinect 2, just that “Kinect watches your natural gestures and responds.”
- There will be new characters revealed at Microsoft’s booth during an event that will be live-streamed on Niconico, which is where the original Psycho-Pass announcement was shown. I think they might also have the actors playing the various characters there as there are photos of people next to 1 known and 3 new unknown characters in one of the announcement images which you can see below and by going to the Psycho-Pass: Sentaku Naki Kōfuku website. Here’s a little more info about the event that I used Google Translate to translate:

We will bring you more news about Psycho-Pass: Sentaku Naki Kōfuku from next month’s Tokyo Game Show as we get it, along with news of any other Kinect games shown or announced there. If Psycho-Pass: Sentaku Naki Kōfuku is a good game with decent Kinect 2 support then I hope it will also be released in English outside of Japan! Would you like to see a Western release too?
