Kinect does not have just one camera, it has three! And all of these three cameras are always looking at you when you Xbox is powered on! If you are worried about privacy issues and such, than this new accessory is something for you!

Pritect Sensor Cover

Cleverly named new company Pritect acknowledged the Kinect privacy issue and came up with a super advanced device that keeps Kinect from seeing you! The device is a plastic cover that you can slide over the Kinect sensor, virtually prohibiting any light to hit Kinect’s camera’s. The only problem with this: You’ll have to manually remove it any time you want to play with Kinect, because frankly, the device won’t really work with the Pritect attached to it.

Ha ha – Thanks Istran. The reality is privacy is a farce. If one lives near any major city, goes to the bank, walks a mall, they are on camera.

If one wants to get into conspiracy theories – and get REALLY paranoid about privacy, they need to also crush their cell phones because… hmmm… what’s to prove that one’s cell phone and camera are actually “OFF” and not transmitting data still?

And if I were a spy organization, I’d skip the cloak and dagger thing, open up a factory that makes MILLIONS of phones, hack the software, and… oh really, the iPhone is actually a SPY gadget for the Chinese??!?!
