Even though Ubisoft is just one of the attendees, they will bring a grand total of four Kinect titles to the gamescom floor that conference attendees can play before the official releases.
“Each year, Gamescom gives us a unique opportunity to meet with customers and fans and get their feedback on our upcoming titles in advance of the holiday season,” said Yves Guillemot, CEO at Ubisoft. “Ubisoft’s lineup this year shows that we’re growing across a wide range of genres and that our development teams are continuing to deliver creative and entertaining games to consumers.”
Ubisoft Gamescom Line-up
That Ubisoft is across a wide range of genres can already be seen from just looking at the Kinect titles at display on their GamesCom booth:
- Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier
- The Black Eyed Peas Experience
- Just Dance 3
- Raving Rabbids: Alive and Kicking
- ANNO 2070
- Assassin’s Creed Revelations
- DDriver San Francisco
- Far Cry 3
- From Dust
- Might & Magic Heroes VI
- Rayman Origins
- The Settlers Online
- Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Online
- TrackMania2 Canyon (located at the Electronic Sports League’s booth)
Do you feel that Ubisoft has a strong line-up for the remainder of 2011 and 2012?
We’re expecting loads of first impressions on the above games during GamesCom (August 17-21). These impressions will hopefully show us which of the games are worthy of Kinect love, and which are best avoided.
