Kinect Star Wars generated a load of hate from the gaming community, both before it’s launch (especially after delay and the unveiling of the dancing mode), as well as after it was released, where it received very poor ratings. I myself kinda liked parts of the game (and disliked some) as you can read in my review, and all in all I thought the game was pretty good.

But even though the media really hated the game, it became the very first Kinect game to top the charts, even in the ‘all systems’ category. And now, a month after release, it seems that the game is still going strong, because it is still appearing in the top of the all systems charts!

Kinect Star Wars in top 5

It’s been a month now since release and it seems that all the negativity that Kinect Star Wars is receiving from the media is not harming the game at all. The latest UK charts show that the Kinect title is still coming in strong at number 5 in the all systems category! I personally think that the game didn’t deserve all the hate it got and I’m happy that sales are going great!

The UK charts show a few other games that did come with Kinect support as well, there is Mass Effect 3, PGA Tour 13 and Just Dance 3. And if Bethesda would finally bring out the Kinect patch for Skyrim then that one could be included too (where is this DLC Bethesda???).
