Microsoft have now made Xbox SmartGlass available for iOS, which includes iPhone (except for iPhone 5 at the moment apparently), iPod Touch and iPad, via the iTunes App Store. As with the other versions it’s a free app. You can see an overview of the iPhone version of Xbox SmartGlass in the video above by Shockblast Media.
Use Xbox SmartGlass to enhance your entertainment on Xbox 360.
Xbox SmartGlass lets your device work with your Xbox 360 console to bring rich, interactive experiences and unique content about what you’re watching or playing, right to the device that’s already in your hand. Interact with your favorite TV shows, movies, music, sports, and games, and bring remote control to a whole new level.
You can also connect with your Xbox friends, track and compare your achievements, and change up your 3D avatar.
What’s New in Version 2.0
Xbox SmartGlass lets you:
• Navigate your Xbox 360 with swipe and tap
• Use your phone’s keyboard to type to your Xbox 360

The Kinect games out now that support Xbox SmartGlass are:
- Dance Central 3
- Home Run Stars
- Kinect Sesame Street TV
Better With Kinect
- Forza Horizon
- Halo 4/Halo Waypoint (The only part of Halo 4 that supports Kinect are the Halo Waypoint features.)
- Madden NFL 13 (Xbox Smartglass features are supposed to be coming soon. This is likely since Madden NFL 13 was one of the games used to demo Xbox SmartGlass at E3.)
