123Kinect just discovered the Forza 4 Demo on Xbox Live! The official description reads: “Forza Motorsport, the highest rated racing franchise of this generation, makes its return to the race track in Fall 2011 with Forza Motorsport 4. The definitive racing game of 2011, Forza Motorsport 4 brings together genre-defining, controller-based racing, the power and freedom of Kinect, and content from leading brands like Top Gear to create an automotive experience unlike anything before it.”
Download the 1.27 GB demo to your Xbox360 via the web, or simply login to Xbox Live on your Xbox 360 (you need an Xbox Live Gold account in order to access the demo this week). The demo should help determine whether this game is worth the purchase or not. Already convinced? Then be sure to reserve your copy of Forza 4 today and it should be in your home by the 11th of October.
Kinect Support? Not in the demo.
Unfortunately, the demo does not support Kinect. What it does support is two game-modes:
- Quick race – three different’types of cars will give you the option to try this game in one lap and multiple difficulty settings
- Rivals – three open time attacks where you need to race to the finish within a certain target time and are up against an Xbox Live opponent.
