For most, Harry Potter needs no introduction. The game related to the 7th and last book in the series however, may:

“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,” the seventh and final adventure in the Harry Potter film series, is a event to be told in two full-length parts.

Part 1 begins as Harry, Ron and Hermione set out on their perilous mission to track down and destroy the secret to Voldemort’s immortality and destruction—the Horcruxes. On their own, without the guidance of their professors or the protection of Professor Dumbledore, the three friends must now rely on one another more than ever. But there are Dark Forces in their midst that threaten to tear them apart.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 wil be one of the games that use Kinect, the motion control camera by for the Xbox 360 game console. Wal-Mart announced this earlier this week.

This games, as with the Star Wars one and force pushes, seems to be a perfect fit for Kinect. The only thing is: how are they going to handle the player not handling anything? Although Kinect could support a wand in the player’s hands, that would defy the logic of ‘no controller required’ in our view.

What is your take on the matter?

Thanks, Telegraaf.

Update: order the game on Amazon with free shipping here. Find the game’s trailer here, and other Kinect enabled games here.
