Infinity Blade Coming To Xbox One?
Chinese developer and publisher Tencent Games, whose parent company Tencent Holdings Ltd acquired a 40% stake in Epic Games, have created a teaser website for what appears to be a Kinect game and according to sources at the Chinese website A9VG it is in fact for a Kinect 2 version of the critically acclaimed iOS game Infinity Blade for Xbox One! The Infinity Blade games are action RPGs by Epic Games developers Chair Entertainment, although the primary gameplay consists of weapons-based 1-on-1 fighting controlled by swiping the touchscreen to swing weapons and parry enemy attacks plus tapping on-screen buttons to block and dodge. No doubt an Xbox One version would most likely use Kinect 2 for sword swinging motions to attack and parry with one hand, blocking with the other hand and body movements to dodge.
We should find out for sure if the mystery game is in fact a Kinect 2 version of Infinity Blade for Xbox One this Friday, November 28th, as Tencent will be revealing it at the Tencent Games Carnival in Shanghai.
