Independent Kinect developer Virtual Air Guitar Company have released a third Kinect Bundle called Kinect Bundle: Beats & Squids for Microsoft’s ID@Xbox Game Fest: Best Of ID@Xbox promotion. This Kinect Bundle includes Beatsplosion For Kinect and Squid Hero For Kinect and is now available to download for Xbox One via the ID@Xbox self-publishing programme, normally priced at £17.59 (UK) / €21.99 (EU) / $21.99 (US) but is currently on offer for half price at £8.80 (UK) / €11.00 (EU) / $11.00 (US) until May 30th as part of the aforementioned promotion!

Here’s more info about and trailer for each game in the bundle, plus you can click on each game’s name to go to its 123KINECT page with all its related articles including first impressions:

Beatsplosion For Kinect

Step through Kinect into the crazy world of subatomic particles. Move to the beat of the music, punch your way through quarks and neutrinos, and smash everything into smithereens!

Daily use may result in getting seriously fit!

Earn higher skill belts to unlock new levels that challenge your rhythm and coordination. Get your sweat on as the tempo increases, and pit yourself against the epic black belt challenge at a blazing speed of 200 bpm!

Get up and make stuff ‘splode!

Squid Hero For Kinect

Squid Hero saves the planet from a new ice age! Travel across the world on this cheery and colorful adventure for all ages, using the power of Kinect to smash thousands of encroaching chunks of ice.

Bring a friend or family member along! The whole game can be played in 2-player co-op mode. Switch at any time between levels!

Get up and play! It’s easy to start, but you’ll need to hone your physical skills throughout the campaign. Pit your dexterity against crazy turbo-speed races. Challenge your accuracy in tight rhythm sections. Weave your way through minefields, smash everything on screen in bonus sections, save hapless critters in the nick of time, and battle epic giant robot bosses!

Although I haven’t played enough of Beatsplosion For Kinect (due to illness) to properly judge it myself I have seen it get good reviews elsewhere and my brother liked it when he played it too so I can recommend this new Kinect Bundle, especially while it’s on offer as part of the ID@Xbox Game Fest: Best Of ID@Xbox promotion. However, if you already have the first Kinect Bundle then you should just buy Beatsplosion For Kinect separately, or alternately if you already have Beatsplosion For Kinect but not Squid Hero For Kinect or Boom Ball For Kinect then you should buy Kinect Bundle: Squid Hero + Boom Ball instead. But if you already have Squid Hero For Kinect but not Beatsplosion For Kinect or Boomball For Kinect then you should buy the second Kinect Bundle, which is called Kinect Bundle: Beats & Booms, instead.
