Is there anyone else out there that is awaiting Dead Space 2? I am by no means a horror fan but i loved the first game and can't wait to get my hands on the 2nd one.

I have since playing the first upgraded to 5.1 sourround and will be able to play it a 2am with the lights off just to get the full effect from the game

I try to get most of the better rated big name games and at least give them a try, but I missed Dead Space along the way. Maybe I will pick up a copy of the first on the cheap somewhere and try it.

XBL has it for $19.99 but i'm sure you can get it used for less like $15, that's how i got Fable 2 cheap before Fale 3 came out.

I'm playing through Dead Space for the first time right now. I'd have to say that it's a must play. I scored it from the EA Store for 9.99.

That game scared the #$%@#% out of me when I first played it. I can play it without freaking out now though!

I played the demo for the second one the other day and it made me jump a couple of times really good, but that is what you want from a game like this is to expect it but for them to still get to ya.

Yeahhh, if you've ever played Doom 3, it scared me about as much as that.

Dead Space 2 seems to be way more scary than the first. I'm not sure what the above poster is talking about. DS2 had me jumping as soon as I started it. This should easily be one of my favorite games this year. The graphics are also gorgeous.
