More reviews:

NDTV Gadgets: 4 out of 5 (I was worried it was 4 out of 10 at first but then realised they score out of 5, lol!)

Kinect Rush: A Disney Pixar Adventure is an exclusive Xbox 360 title, designed to take full advantage of the Kinect sensor that has made the console so popular in modern times. It's amazing how Asobo Studios has managed to incorporate s many varying gaming styles and experiences into one package.

Each mini game is based on five Pixar moves and offers very unique missions and achievements that the player can unlock as they go along. The free-roam concept lends the game sort of an RPG-like feel, as does the ability to converse with the other AI in the game.

Overall we feel that just like the Pixar movies are enjoyed by both children and grown-ups alike, Kinect Rush would definitely be a hit with all age-groups.

Score

Story: 5
Gameplay: 3.5
Graphics: 3.5
Sound: 4.5
Overall: 4

Quote:Going back to my measure of a good Kinect game, Rush ticks the right boxes with my kids. Rather than asking for more time on the 360, they have got into the habit of asking if they can visit Ratatouille or The Incredibles. Kinect Rush represents a place they can go and play rather than a game they want to finish, and a big part of this success comes from the theatrics that result from the Kinect controls.

GamingXP: 78 out of 100 (The website is in German but I got the translated review quote from Metacritic.)

Quote:If you love the films Cars, Ratatouille, The Incredibles, Toy Story and Up!, you'll find this a nice addition and quite decent collection of mini games. But as a game, albeit quite solid, it's just no Disneyland Adventures, in scope or presentation.

I just had to mention this review so I could post this hilarious quote from it Tongue:

Quote:There is some mild violence in different areas. We shoo birds away with a water hose for example.

They find shooing birds away with a hose mildly violent?? Confused LMAO! Big Grin

No kidding. It's alright to have a head blown off a realistic human body but show hints of nudity in a game (not Pixar of course!) and the news agencies are in an uproar.
