Kinect audio tuner
I need some help with my sensor. For some reason, my sensor wants to run the audio calibration every time I turn my Xbox on. I've tried clearing my system cache and I've rerun the initial setup but it still happens.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

I have completed the setup multiple times on both the startup and by manually going into the Kinect settings.

I looked in the console settings and there isn't anything in the audio menu that would affect me. I am hooked up to a tube TV through RCA cables...

RE: Kinect audio tuner
I'm not understanding. When you turn on your Xbox, you see this screen?

Were you able to pass the audio calibration tests? Did you set the TV volume at the level that you normally use to play your Xbox?

Remember when doing audio calibration, you are supposed to set the volume at the level that you actually play games and movies at. Some people erroneously think that by setting the volume extremely high during the audio tests, they'll get better performance when they play games at the actual volume. This is not the case.

Google "destructive wave interference" on how noise cancellation works.

This is the support page on how to set up your audio calibration:

RE: Kinect audio tuner
I pass the background noise tests just fine. Everything completes as its supposed to.

When I turn on my Xbox, I get this screen after the "Your Kinect is starting up" message.

I had an old Xbox that I had it hooked up to before, but I got a new slim Xbox and I tried to hook it up and this is what I've been getting everytime.

Is your Kinect on your AUX port of your 360-S? If it is, you may want to test your Kinect by using a rear USB port and the power supply.

Already tried that.... didn't work.

Is there any way that I can factory reset the Kinect?

No just the slim. I sold the old one, so I can't test to make sure. But I didn't have a problem before.
