Microsoft recently registered a domain names that suggest that a brand new Kinect game is in development. The domain name in question is ssxkinect.com and thus implies an SSX game is actually in development for Kinect! More info after the jump.

SSX Kinect
The information about the registration of the ssxkinect.com domain can be found here, where it indicates the domain belongs to Microsoft. The SSX franchise belongs to EA, so if an SSX Kinect game is in development it will probably be developed by EA and published by Microsoft.

SSX (or Snowboard Supercross) is, like the name says, a snowboarding game where performing the most crazy tricks or stunt is the main aim of the game (as they provide you with speed). A Kinect version of the game would probably play somewhat like Sonic Free Rides (as both games involve standing on a board), but maybe EA comes up with a way to make the game a little easier to get into, as Sonic had a pretty steep learning curve.

As for now the development of SSX Kinect is pure speculation, as there is no official confirmation yet, but the fact a domain name has been registered is a good indication that SSX on Kinect is going to happen!
