as regards the shop.to offer is its pre-order only . they did have kinect with rise of nightmares and child of eden for 115 pounds in stock which i thought was a good deal which i ordered at 4:30 pm on friday. the money was taken from my account. and they promise same day dispatch if product in stock and ordered before 5:30pm. i checked shop.to account today and it still says processing so after waiting a VERY long time on their freephone number i was told that there was a stock problem and i should have been emailed and order cancelled same day which didnt happen. jfi the deal i ordered is no longer showing on their site, however one linked to in this thread is still pre-order.

edit: on the plus side ,they have been very prompt in repaying me my money as ive just received an email.

the console bundles are just unreal. with the 360/kinect bundle, you are basically getting the kinect for free and you get a $50 gift card which can easily be spent on anything walmart including groceries, clothes, etc.

Even though its a good deal...the headache you encounter is unbelievable, people act likes it the end of the world and these deals are the only things left to buy in order to survive. I like Black Friday. It's a lot of fun between the planning, the camraderie, the party atmosphere, etc. It's like a Modern Warfare event where you and your friends split up and home directly to the targeted deals. everyone's eyeing the prizes so be fast, swift, and accurate. spoils go to the victors.

the only bad part is the checkout but if you have enough friends, you have a friend immediately get into checkout while everyone else hunts for the deals. I've been in and out of a store in 10 minutes on BF.

last year, I got 2 copies of Dance Central for free at Old Navy.
