Majesco Entertainment, known for Kinect game Zumba Fitness and others like Phychonauts and BloodRayne, seems to have three Kinect games in developement. I repeat….THREE Kinect games! The company didn’t officially announce these new games yet but we found them as GameStop has the games listed on their shopping page!
Three new Kinect games by Majesco
The three games in question are:
- Harley Pasternak’s Hollywood Trainer, due September 1st, 2011
- Monsters: Mass Destruction, due September 1st 2011
- Left Brain Right Brain, due October 3rd, 2011
Unfortunately there is not much more information available on these titles, but judging from the names we can try to make some assumptions.
Harley Pasternak’s Hollywood Trainer
Harley Pasternak’s Hollywood Trainer will undoubtedly be a sports/fitness game. Harley Pasternak is a fitness expert and renowned for her work as a celebrity trainer and 5-factor product line. If Harley Pasternak is working closely with Majesco to make this game deliver the same workout and advice as she gives her celebrity clients then this game might turn out to be a real gem for exercise game lovers!
Monsters: Mass Destruction
Monsters: Mass Destruction will probably be a bit like Monster Tale for the DS but for Xbox as a third person platformer. I hope you will able to use Kinect to care for and train your pet monster. If this is going to be a game like Phychonauts it could be really interesting! Check out the trailer of Monster Tale for the DS as the gameplay of this game might be similar to this one.
Left Brain Right Brain
Left Brain Right Brain is obvious going to be a brain trainer. The game is already out on the iPhone so we can predict a bit better how this one will turn out. Majesco says this about Left Brain Right Brain:
The Left Brain Right Brain App lets players sharpen their mental skills by training the left and right hemispheres of their brain with activities based on speed, accuracy, association, recognition, memory and strategy. With four single-player game modes – Hand Exercises, Balance Check, Left Hand vs. Right Hand and Ambidexterity Check – players can practice any activity, over 5 difficulty levels, to prepare for ambidexterity tests. As they play they can monitor personal progress and assess improvement via development percentages that appear after every exercise.
Let’s hope it will be better than Brain Connection!
The games are not yet listed at the Majesco official website so as for now we are not sure if this info was supposed to have come out already. We are also not sure when more info on these games will be available. When we know more we’ll let you know immediately!
Kinect is really getting a lot of support from game developers, I’m very excited about this and this once again shows that Kinect is going to have a very bright future!
So what’s your prediction about these 3 games? Let me know in the comments!
