Update: Microsoft’s CEO (Steve Ballmer) just confirmed the numbers below on CES 2012

- Xbox 360 is the best selling console in the US, according to MS
- 66 million Xbox 360′s sold
- 18 Million Kinect Sensors sold
- Nearly 40 Million Xbox Live members
Even though Microsoft was already onto something before this holiday season (as well as during), the above summarizes what a great year it was for both Xbox and Kinect. Great numbers, and well deserved. Let’s hope MS has some nice things up their sleeve as part of their CES keynote that starts about 2 hours from now (live stream here).
