I've just gone to the woman's bedroom, straightened the picture and found the opening behind the bookcase. Now there are 5 spinning blades on tracks. How do I get past this?

Patience, you have to time it and stop promptly. This is one of the parts where the footwork doesn't work very good and walking/running in place would have worked so much better.
