I'm not into this sort of music but the application is amazing! Next they should add projected visual effects controlled by Kinect at the same time too. This once again reminds me of what Michael Jackson could have done with Kinect if he was still alive. (Saturday was the 2nd anniversary of his death by the way.)

though technically, the official SDK is not open source so maybe the official one should be its own thread?

The potential in these videos is amazing! Also, I wonder if developers could create levels for Kinect games (or even non-Kinect games) actually using Kinect? (If you get what I mean?)

Check this out! It's from Microsoft themselves. The start may not seem that interesting (although they're actually doing cool stuff when you think about it) but the things they do get more interesting as the video goes on. I think they may actually be doing wrist tracking at the end. Watch the cube with the xyz lines on the lower windows, I think that's showing the rotation of the hand.
