You'll probably all know Half Life 2, and so you probably also know the Source Engine (which powers Half Life 2 among other games). One of the other games that run on the Source Engine is Garry's Mod, a sandbox game in which you have total freedom to basically do whatever you want (within the confines of the Source Engine) and is therefore a total blast and extremely popular among pc gamers.

Well someone figured out how to make it work with Kinect, and it looks like a lot of fun! Check it out after the jump.
Garry's Mod and Kinect
Garry's Mod is basically the ultimate sandbox. You can bring all kinds of objects into a gigantic playing ground and start to toy with them. The physics in the game make it all the more fun. But now with Kinect the level of interaction has gone up quite a big notch. Check out this video below of what is possible:

This is only a glimpse of what is possible with Garry's Mod though, and I think that a lot more is possible. For example: people have been using Garry's Mod quite a bit to make Machinema, now they can do this by actually acting out the characters in their movies. Quite a cool thing!

Anyway, I think this is a very cool development and would love to see something like this released as an actual game on Xbox. What do you guys think?
