2011/02/27 (Sunday) [YSFE] : Sleeve-Busting Arms (3 of 12) CALORIES : 49 / 1891 DURATION : 10 min / 4h17 PERCENTAGE : 90% [EASA2] : Workout 11 (day 11 of 36) + Fitness test EXERCISES : 32 (30+2) CALORIES : 280 (253+26) / 3064 - earned the 3000 burned calories milestone ![]() DURATION : 37 (33+4) min / 8h07 MHB : 172 / 200 AHB : 126 / 115 DISTANCE (miles) : 1.3 (1.2+0.1) / 9.31 Fitness test : - Heart Rate Test : Forward to Backward Jump Repeats for 2:05 min with a AHB of 118 and MHB of 156 - Fitness Test Cooldown : walked for 2:09 min This one was quite easy too, beside the Split Squat Jump Repeats that i did twice, ouf ! 50% of execises were cardio stuff and most of the rest were upper body. I have some difficulties to do the Prone Plank to Side Plank, it hurt the bottom of my back. I think my abs are not yet strong enough to keep my back straight. I discovered that if I swing my arms faster while I run, the calorie counter goes faster. I know a few buffet do love me whenever I show up. LoL I am trying to cut them out and stay with what has been working for me. So I wish you well on your journey on whatever you are trying to do whether is to lose weight or to maintain or tone your body. Now I got to get going on my goal for today..... ![]() |

2011/02/28 (Monday) [EASA2] : Workout 12 (day 12 of 36) + custom workout (Biceps Curls) EXERCISES : 33 (31+2) CALORIES : 202 (195+6) / 3266 DURATION : 34 (32+2) min / 8h42 MHB : 185 / 200 AHB : 105 (128+93) / 114 DISTANCE (miles) : 2.1 / 9.79 Total for phase 1: CALORIES : 2600 AHB : 123 DURATION : 6h36 I finished the phase 1 and it was another tough one : 44% of lower body, 3 x Split Squat Jump Repeats, god i hate those, but I try to do my very best each time. I finished with a custom workout with only the Biceps Curls exercise in it, i did it twice. They should make access to them faster, you have to go through 3 or 4 screen before starting custom workout. Ea posted on their Facebook site that they released a patch, but i haven’t got one :-( Maybe next time...I hope ! ![]() [Kinect Sports Leaderboards] |

Congratulations on completing Phase 1 of the 9 week program!
Yeah, I hate the Split Squat Jump Repeats too! I think they should be called Trial by Split Squat Jump Repeats. ![]() I saw someone in the EA forum yesterday mention that they had gotten an update. Perhaps they're rolling it out to people a bit at a time. I'm wondering if I'll see it this morning when I start up the game. ![]() Life is in the details, don't miss a thing ![]() |

Well done, I wasn't far behind you and yes, eurrgggh to the split squat repeats.
I did get the patch and the main difference I noticed, and this is probably worthy of being a news item, is it no longer tracks you for any of the floor exercises. Push Ups, Planks etc. It now treats all these like the warm up and warm down, it asked me to do 10 v-sit crunches and I went and rolled out my yoga mat and sat down and noticed my instructer was already up 3. I knew they'd recognised there were problems with kinect and floor exercises but I'd have preferred they'd fixed it than remove the tracking. ![]() |

Beside that everything went fine and was easy. 2011/03/05 (Saturday) [EASA2] : Workout 14 (day 14 of 36) + custom workout (Biceps Curls + Push Ups) EXERCISES : 35 (33+2) CALORIES : 265 (257+8) / 3802 DURATION : 41 min (39+2) / 9h59 MHB : 169 (169+124) / 200 AHB : 113 (123+103) / 114 DISTANCE (miles) : 2.9 / 11.2 It's been 4 days that I have not done a real workout, I was out of energy (perhaps because of some kind of microbe : I do not really have symptoms since I'm taking immunosuppressive drugs). So I have 2 missed workouts and since week-end are rest days, I will do those 2 workouts. It was a well balanced or cardio, upper and lower body. When I did the Mountain Biking I began to be tired after the 8th jump but I said to myself “come on just 1 more”, but after the 9th jump it didn’t stop there, the counter changed to 18 jumps, oh noooo, I continued on the new route of the trail with all new 9 jumps. I liked it. I added Push Ups to my custom workout which I did after the scheduled one. I was feeling better after my workout today ![]() At the end of my last workout (Tuesday), I changed the option of floor exercises to “manual”, but I did not try. Good news the tracking was back and it’s a good news for me because I never had problems with those exercises. I stopped during exercise to place the HRM because as I moved my heart rate indicator decreases. This happens sometimes when I run, I know that my heart goes faster than 80 or 90. Then at the beginning of the next exercise he is at 145. It does not seem very accurate when i’m running. I feel i'm in better shape because even if I'm tired during an exercise, I'm not for the next one. I recover much faster than before. And at the end of my workout, I am no longer exhausted. In fact this is the #4 of the phase 2, hmm, kind of a pattern. I just burned 208 calories, I thought that I had burned more because I was pretty tired. There’s something weird with the distance, yesterday the total was 12.43, today I ran 2.1 miles and now the total is just 12.93 ???
