Hello everyone, I know it is kind of late after the kinect came out, but I just got one...finally, and I'm hoping that it'll be able to help me lose weight.
Ok so here's my story and what I plan on doing...
I was always thin in high school and college and it wasn't until the past two years that I've gained an insane amount of weight due to a bad breakup, depression, and moving back to the states after college. Now, I'm in grad school and in a great relationship and now that things are going well for me again I really want to get back in shape, but with a crazy schedule I usually get home after the gym is already closed so I plan on using the kinect for my main form of exercise. I've already been using myfitnesspal.com to monitor my calorie intake and have been eating around 1200-1400 calories a day.
I plan on working out with dance central 2, UFC Fitness System, and Yourshape fitness and going to the gym on Sundays for Yoga. I'll try and do 45 minutes to an hour every day with Saturday as my zero day.
I'll post on here at least once a week to update everyone on my progress, and anyone that wants to join me on this journey, please feel free. It would be awesome to get a whole group to do this with.

Ok, so here's the embarassing info:
weight as of today: 270 at 5 foot 10
Goal: 130 (what I weighed two years ago)
It's going to be a long journey.
