Exclamation PAX East April 6th - 8th
Microsoft have confirmed a few games they'll be showing at PAX East which is from the 6th until the 8th of April. The Kinect games that they've confirmed they're showing so far are Crimson Dragon, Wreckateer and Minecraft if they show it with Kinect. The list of Xbox 360 exclusive games in general they've confirmed they're showing so far are Bloodforge, Crimson Dragon, Deadlight, Dust: An Elysian Tale, Fable Heroes, Minecraft, Trial Evolution and Wreckateer. These are only the games they've confirmed so far, no doubt they'll show more (hopefully a surprise or 2?) plus there should be other non-Microsoft published games too.

A new Xbox 360 game is going to be announced at PAX East, probably an XBLA game since the announcement of the announcement is on Microsoft's PlayXBLA website but it doesn't say whether it will be a Kinect game or not. (The link is the right one, they just announced the secret game announcement on the same page as the "1 day to go" Minecraft release date announcement countdown for some reason.)

Here's the official website for the game, you click on the 3rd panel that's next to the 2 Toy Soldiers games' panels, although there's nothing but 1 image there at the moment:

Here's a quote about some of the games being shown, there's more info about other events if you click on the above link.

Quote:Hands-on Gaming (Booth #524)

Kinect Sports: Season Two puts you in the game with six new sports and ground-breaking features that use the full-body play technology you can only get with Kinect for Xbox 360. With the all-new “Basketball Activity Pack” you can test your basketball skills by “making the shot”, “smashing the targets” or “completing the pass”! It makes for the complete sports experience – right in your living room!

Kinect Star Wars – Launched on April 3rd by LucasArts. Step into Star Wars and experience a new galaxy of physical gameplay. Pilot a starfighter, race speeder bikes and even become the ultimate Jedi, and enjoy more adventures by yourself or with friends. Feel the Force when you are the controller. Steel Battalion Heavy Armor is happy to announce its first consumer hands-on experience at the PAX East Event in Boston, MA from April 6-8. On display at both the Microsoft and Capcom booths, the game will feature a uniquely immersive warfare gaming experience at each location. At the Microsoft booth, gamers can try their hand at the visceral New York City beach landing stage as they make their first stand to retake their homeland. At the Capcom booth, gamers will take to the streets as they experience a never before seen stage, “Old York City”, pushing them to risk life and limb for a downed comrade. On top of the hands-on gameplay that will be available, visitors can experience a fully thematic booth experience and receive tattoos, T-shirts, and even enter to win a brand new Xbox 360 with Kinect bundle (one awarded per day). Steel Battalion Heavy Armor is an exclusive Kinect for Xbox 360 first person action game that releases in North America on June 19.”

Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition – After 4 million purchases in its alpha and beta stages, the PC gaming phenomenon Minecraft comes to Xbox 360. Imagine it, build it! Minecraft for Xbox 360 lets you create worlds from the comfort of your sofa. Play alone or play with your friends. Explore, build and conquer! At night monsters come out, so make sure to build a shelter before that happens. After that, your world is your imagination. Turn your hours into minutes with Minecraft for Xbox 360!

Deadlight – In an apocalyptic world where existence is futile, a solitary man treks the American west coast. Survival is the measure of all. In an alternate vision of the 1980s, a mysterious disease has decimated mankind, transforming people into killer automatons. During his odyssey, Randall Wayne will find other survivors, men and women who are no more than ghostly remnants of a fading society, a flame in the desert fighting extinction.

Trials Evolution by RedLynx, Ltd. Is the follow-up to the smash hit "Trials HD". The game will have you flipping, climbing and racing your way across levels that span both indoor and outdoor tracks, or building your own level using the new level editor that lets you share your creations with anyone on Xbox LIVE.

Fable: Heroes is an action-packed hack-and-slash adventure set in the “Fable” universe and will launch this spring on Xbox LIVE Arcade. It offers a fresh spin on the “Fable” franchise, taking playful competition to the next level with four player co-op, time trials and leaderboards on Xbox LIVE. In “Fable Heroes” players work together to defeat enemies while also competing with each other to collect gold coins, which will level up their character and unlock unique items in “Fable: The Journey” when it launches later this year.

Bloodforge — It is an ancient world of myth and legend. Powerful gods rule and vicious tribes swear allegiance to them. One warrior stands free: Crom. He has given up battle in favor of his family. The gods brutally decide to drag him back in to their fight, leaving Crom with only one option: Revenge.

Crimson Dragon – Embark on a 3D dragon flight shooter as you control your dragon with Kinect to take on massive and hostile alien creatures. Train your dragon to learn new skills, and take on massive enemies in numerous quests. Combine several dragon types with more than 150 skills to challenge the quests how you see fit. Once online, invite your friends for a co-op attempt at the quests. Collaboration with your teammates may yield unseen new skills! Now, with Kinect as your reigns, command your dragon to take on the skies!

Wreckateer – Step up to Kinect for Xbox® 360, young squire, and join the ranks of the Wreckateers™, the finest medieval demolition service in all the land. By the King’s orders, you will be charged with demolishing unwanted castles across the kingdom. Wielding the Ballista, a giant medieval crossbow, you will use your body to steady your aim, fire and guide magical shots mid-air. Using a vast array of ammunition including the Flying Shot, the Explosive Shot, the Speed Shot and many more, Wreckateers will be tasked with bringing massive castles occupied by grubby goblins crumbling to the ground. Featuring a robust single player campaign, local multiplayer mode, and Xbox LIVE leader board support ensures your entire family will have an endlessly royal good time.

Dust: An Elysian Tail — Set in the beautiful yet mysterious world of Falana, this game chronicles protagonist Dust’s journey to liberate an oppressed village, and rediscover his past. He is aided by an ancient sword, Ahrah, and his helpful if unreserved sidekick, Fidget. Meticulously hand-animated and painted, this episode of Elysian Tail welcomes exploration, platforming, and above all else, mastery of a fighting system that rewards skilled gamers.
