Sensor at 7 feet high
I am new to the Kinect and I have placed my sensor on a TV mount which puts the sensor 7 feet from the floor. It seems to work fine but I have nothing to compare it to. Would anything be gained by lowering the sensor to 3 1/2 feet? Thanks in advance......

RE: Sensor at 7 feet high
if you're picking between 7 feet and 3.5 feet, keep the 7 feet. the only time 3.5 feet may be useful if if you have kids with a height near 40".

If they've got plenty of space (as in distance from the Kinect, like over 7ft) then I don't think there'll be a problem putting it at 3.5ft high, it'll probably work better than 7ft high since you're not really meant to put it higher than 6ft. |
